Aluminium 2024 will be hosted as a live trade show from 08.10.2024 and 10.10.2024. Strict COVID-19 safety measures will not be put in place at Messe Düsseldorf, the edition's host location. This is due to Germany lifting its pandemic-related restrictions, including the ones limiting travelling to the country.

The international trade fair is based in Dusseldorf, Germany and lasts for three days in total. Editions are spaced out every two years and Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH is the official organiser. There are two sets of opening hours. For visitors, door open at 09:00 in the morning and close at 06:00 in the afternoon at Messe Dusseldorf. Exhibitors, on the other hand, have an additional hour before opening and closing time.

With 20,400 visitors from 100 countries and 730 exhibitors from 50 nations, the world's leading trade fair ALUMINIUM in Düsseldorf returned after a four-year hiatus. The event exceeded the organisers' expectations and showed that aluminium remains a key material on the road to resource conservation. The event took place between the dates 27.09.2022 and 29.09.2022.
