DMEXCO 2024
DMEXCO 2024 will take place as a face-to-face edition between 18.09.2024 and 19.09.2024. Attendants can visit the in-person exhibition at Messe Cologne. They should note that the face-to-face event will not feature strict COVID-19 prevention measures. This is due to the country removing its domestic restrictions and travel bans.

The annual event is normally held in September at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Koelnmesse GmbH, the official organiser, ensures that the two days are packed with informative programming. Trade visitors can enter the venue from 09:30 am until 18:30 pm on the first day, and until 17:30 pm on the last day.

DMEXCO 2019
The 2019 edition occurred under the motto “Trust in you”. It focused on discussing trust and its importance to the industry. Approximately 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries exhibited their products in six pavilions. More than 600 speakers participated in the conference program. DMEXCO19 had 9 conference formats, 4 curated stages, and over 150 seminars/WorkLabs. The conference program was streamed online for access by all participants. DMEXCO19 also hosted the second issue of the SevenVentures Pitch Day. It was an international competition for innovative start-up companies. The event was held in Messe Cologne from September 11, 2019, to September 12, 2019.
DMEXCO 2020
DMEXCO20 was the first digital version of this event. This was necessary as a change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Attitude is important” was the motto of the edition. The motto invited decision-makers to discuss what attitudes mean to the industry. There are special features for the online premiere. This allowed registered exhibitors to invite an unlimited number of guests. This can be done for free and invited participants have exclusive access to:

DMEXCO20 was held from September 23, 2020, to September 24, 2020. Attendees included over 20,000 participants, over 800 speakers and 260 partners. Over 10,000 participants attended the platform at the same time. They posted over 60,000 messages. Fifty-six per cent of participants preferred to use voice and video calls during the day of the event. An average of 230 viewers were registered for each session of the conference. The conference agenda contained 163 masterclasses.
DMEXCO 2021
The 2021 edition was the second digital version of DMEXCO. Like the previous year, it was necessary because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The edition set new records as it received 20,600 visitors and 600 speakers. DMEXCO21 took place between 7.09.2021 and 8.09.2021. Over 150 hours of information formed the conference's agenda, distributed between 11 conference streams. Topics included humanised technology and the end of third-party data.
DMEXCO 2022
DMEXCO 2022 was an in-person event that took place between September 21st and September 22nd, 2022. Due to the removal of the domestic limitations, it was hosted at Messe Cologne in the absence of Covid-19 protection measures. DMEXCO22 offered solutions to a number of critical questions. One of them was the significance of digitalisation in the post-COVID era. It also addressed the future goals for the digital sector. Sustainability, digital services, and intelligent infrastructures were also important considerations. The event attracted 560 partner enterprises, approximately 40,000 attendees, and over 770 speakers. The attendees travelled from 91 different countries, while more than 50% of the guest speakers were from foreign nations.
DMEXCO 2023
DMEXCO 2023 was a live trade fair hosted in Messe Cologne between 20.09.2023 and 21.09.2023. The event featured over 800 speakers who discussed topics like deepfakes and AI. Their sessions were attended by around 40,000 visitors. The visiting group also over-viewed the wares of more than 650 exhibitors from 26 nations.
