Additionally, professionals can opt to expand their specialist knowledge and gain recognition. FESPA also enables experts to gain a detailed overview of the industries and learn about the latest trends.

Experts can opt to complete such goals by taking part in one or more sub-events. FESPA is an international trade fair with a detailed event schedule. This includes various sub-events such as expos, contests, discussions and training. One of the central events to take place is the exposition where start-ups and leading companies present their latest wares. The exhibition allows them to conduct business onsite, gain recognition and examine new trends. This is due to the exposition providing opportunities to network with other professionals including company owners, digital experts and others. The expo features a broad range of product groups. Example product groups include textile, screen and digital printing.

FESPA provide ample opportunities for gaining recognition. Apart from the mentioned exhibition, these include a diverse group of competitions and awards. One such example is World Wrap Masters Europe. This is a sub-event consisting of three primary aspects - the competition, the live demonstrations and the training workshops. The training workshops feature various leading wrap instructors providing information by sharing their knowledge and experience. Such workshops allow professionals to expand their knowledge and skills. The demonstrations perform a similar role by enabling experts to observe various techniques. This enables experts to hone their skills and network. Often, the topics of discussion during the workshops and demonstrations are novel techniques and materials. They can also discuss challenges such as creating novel sustainable wrap installations. The competition is the main aspect of the World Wrap Masters Europe. It is the sub-event during which aspiring professionals and experts can present their innovation and creativity by creating novel wrap installations.

The Printeriors is among the leading sub-events of FESPA as well. It is the central meeting location for the decoration and interior design printing sector. This is due to the event allowing them to present the latest bespoke wares. Each of the exhibited products at the expo is created through the use of two or more technologies from the co-occurring Global Print Expo. Printeriors also coincides with the World Wrap Masters allowing professionals to take part in both sub-events. It also allows professionals such as printers, designers and manufacturers to present their latest wares. The co-occurring Global Print Expo serves as the central hub for presenting new cutting, printing, film and vinyl manufacturing technologies. It is also the location for meeting experts such as printing technicians and assistants.
