Basel, Switzerland has lost the iconic watchmaking trade fair Baselworld, which won’t be taking place anymore, but the empty spot is already filled. HOURUNIVERSE is an update on the fair’s concept with a more inclusive approach to watchmaking, jewelry and gemstones. Plans are for the international trade fair to have a physical show at Basel Exhibition Centre annually and a digital event. The physical show has been confirmed for the period April 8th – April 12th and will be organised with increased security measures during COVID-19.
