IPM ESSEN presents the most innovative ideas and practices in horticulture with a laser focus on gardening tools and services. IPM ESSEN (sometimes referred to as IPM Germany) has put down its roots all over Europe, which has then prompted the creation of satellite events in Moscow, Beijing, Dubai and Bangalore. The event will occur as a live event in 2025 between 28.01.2025 and 31.01.2025. The event will take place at Messe Essen as a live exhibition, without strict COVID-19 prevention measures in place. This is due to the removal of the country's pandemic-related restrictions.

Because IPM ESSEN acts as a trend setter it always arrives first thin on the calendar year with the second half of January customarily being the time editions take place. The trade show happens on an annual basis at Messe Essen, which is also the official organiser for the event, and admission is strictly for trade visitors.
Over the course of four days in total, doors are open from 09:00 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. Zentralverband Gartenbau e.V. ZVG functions as an official partner and supporter of the event.

IPM Essen 2023 Edition
IPM Essen 2023 was a live trade expo held at Messe Essen between January 24th and January 27th, 2023. Because the country's pandemic-related limitations were lifted in 2022, the venue did not employ coronavirus protections. Over 40,000 attendees from over 100 nations, as did 1,330 exhibitors from 46 countries, attended the event. 66% of the exhibiting companies represented a foreign country, and 95% will return for the next edition. 90% of visitors were pleased with the products on display. Additionally, 91% of the group will return to IPM Essen 2024, and 92% will recommend the trade show.
IPM Essen 2024 Edition
The 2024 edition of IPM Essen took place as a live trade fair. It was hosted in Messe Essen between the dates 23.01.2024 and 26.01.2024. Over 1,400 exhibitors from 43 countries and approximately 36,000 visitors attended. 91% of the visiting group would recommend the event and will attend the next edition. 87% of the visitors have also rated IPM Essen as excellent. 87% of the exhibitors will likewise attend the next rendition.
