Koelnmesse performs the dual duty of organiser and host with the general support of the German Interior Business Association – IBA. Only trade visitors are admitted to the exhibition centre and working hours are from 09:00 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon for the first four days, and until 16:00 on closing day.

This equated to a 13% increase in exhibitor attendance and a 12% increase in attendee attendance.

Orgatec 2022 was held in Messe Cologne from October 25th to October 29th, 2022. Due to the removal of pandemic-related restrictions, the venue did not include Covid-19 safety measures. The edition featured 686 exhibiting companies from 43 nations (78% from abroad) and approximately 45,000 visitors from 130 countries.
