A global efficient and sustainable agriculture technology expo

Position yourself in the encompassing global conversation happening in the agri-business and sign up for SIMA. This international trade show brings you the latest on practices and standards within agriculture and animal breeding, while also presenting a wide range of equipment options. SIMA has had a long time to establish itself as the trade show nears 100 years – the very first edition was held in 1922. In this time, SIMA has grown to represent the entire value chain and today it looks like a massive exhibition divided into 15 themed halls.

Here is what you can discover in terms of products and equipment: traction, components, tilling, plant protection, irrigation, harvesting, post-harvesting, equipment for tropical crops, handling, stock-breeding equipment, milking and dairy equipment, sustainable development, professional landscaping, management and professional organisations. There’s even an area where you can see cattle breeds face to face – 250 cattle, 6 beef and 2 dairy breeds.

Update for the Event

SIMA Paris 2024 will be held as a face-to-face trade fair in the Paris Nord Villepinte from November 24th to November 27th, 2024. The venue will not have Covid-19 preventative measures in place due to the removal of the country's pandemic-related restrictions.

SIMA is based in Paris, France and follows a strict biennial schedule with editions falling on even years. Each edition lasts for five days total and arrives at Paris-Nord Villepinte Parc d'Expositions et Centre de Conventions (VIPARIS) in early November just in time to close out the fiscal year. The trade show shares a stage with SIMAGENA and both are organised by COMEXPOSIUM. Entry is given only to trade visitors and as of right now, working hours are slated for the period 08:30 am in the morning until 18:00 pm in the afternoon. Paris-Nord Villepinte Parc d'Expositions enjoys good connections to transportation services. The fastest way to commute to the exhibition grounds without renting a car is to use the RER train lines. Porte Maillot and the Beauvais Airport are both locations that have shuttle bus service to the exhibition grounds. In the end your commute is swiftly resolved daily.

The costs to exhibit at SIMA quickly convert into fresh sales leads and direct orders. SIMA means big business as you can see from the sheer scale of the event. Last edition, organisers registered an audience of more than 230,000 trade visitors that represented 140 countries. Given the show’s deep significance for French agriculture, SIMA is a focal meeting point for native farmers. This translates into a ratio of 75% to 25% of native to foreign visitors. However, that is still a significant number of professional visitors from Morocco, Norway, Finland, Canada, Russia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Spain, the UK and Japan. In attendance you have farmers, agricultural and forestry contractors, distributors, dealers, importers, merchants and cooperatives. The number of exhibitors reached 1800 and they represented 42 countries mostly in Europe, but there were good numbers from Turkey, Korea and China.
