As with most fashion events, Who’s Next takes place twice a year and runs for a total of four days. The first edition is held in January and covers the upcoming spring and summer trends. The second edition is put together in September and follows the fall and winter trends. WSN Development is the official organiser of the event, which is also co-located with IMPACT in Paris, France. Only trade visitors can buy tickets and enter Paris expo Porte de Versailles. Doors open at 09:30 in the morning and activities wrap up around 19:00 in the evening. The only exception is the last day, which closes at 17:00 in the afternoon. Paris expo Porte de Versailles is easily accessible by all types of public transportation. You have the Porte de Versailles metro station right next door and there are multiple bus and tram lines that connect the rest of the city to the exhibition grounds.

What You Can Expect as an Exhibitor?

Who’s Next has very recently integrated into its programming the related IMPACT event, whose mission is to bring conversations around sustainable fashion to the forefront. The space shines a bright spotlight onto sustainable brands, while also confronting the worst aspects of fashion manufacturing with possible solutions for the short and long run. This only adds deeper value to the show as a whole.

As a smaller exhibitor or designer, you can greatly benefit from submitting your project to Ulule. The Who’s Next X Ulule partnership presents smaller creators crowdfunding as a way to finance their next ambition. This is where Ulule, the financing tool, comes into play.

Who’s Next keeps having exhibitors return time and time again, because editions are well attended. Last edition registered over 45,000 international visitors, who were highly international in origin. The most well-represented market is Europe with major numbers from Italy, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Norway and Denmark. The trade fair has also become very popular with Asian markets like South Korea, Japan, Thailand and China. There’s also strong numbers from Canada and North America. Roughly 70% of all visitors were made up by retail, multi-brand, department store and e-commerce buyers. All came to explore the offerings by 600 different exhibitors. The other 30% of visitors are agents, journalists, stylists, schools and trend forecasters. As an exhibitor, you are in the best position to create buzz around new collections, get people to notice your brand and then expand your professional contact list.
